Ventures: Fantasy Chess at the Qatar Masters

Fantasy Chess, a joint collaboration between Iterate, Norway Chess, and Magnus Carlson recently completed its 3rd tournament alongside The Qatar Masters event. The Qatar Masters Open is one of the strongest open tournaments in the world, where only players rated 2300 or higher can take part. Grand Masters Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, and many other chess titans participated this year.

For this tournament, there were just shy of 800 Fantasy Chess players competing. Impressive! Now for the winner… (drum roll please) Stinking Bishop! They managed to score an impressive 399 points in total. Congrats!
